Christian music charts
The roots of contemporary Christian music can be found in the 18th century when Gospel music made its way into the churches and became an integral part of Christian lifestyle. Music was introduced to the western world by the slaves who were brought from distant countries. Their knowledge of music later evolved into hymns, which laid the foundation for Christian music. However Gospel music is just a part of Christian music as it encompasses many other genres. Folk and country music as well as pop and rock music became popular during the liberal 1960′s. Bob Dylan and other popular artist came up with Christian albums which contained Christian themes in them. These were accepted by people who were open to change. Musicians like Children of the Day and Love Song started expressing their faith through this music. Other artists followed soon and this led to increase in its audience. In the 1970′s musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar and God-Spell added a spice to Christian Music. Song such as ‘Everything is alright’ from Jesus Christ Superstar and ‘Day by Day’ from God-spell topped the Christian music charts. Lee Greenberg gained popularity with ‘Spirit in the Sky’ and ‘Love Song’ cracked the Christian music charts. With Christian rock and Christian rap emerging in the 1980′s secular music arose. Michael W. Smith and Russ Taff found success in the 80′s in the Christian airtime as well as with the youth. It was only in the 1990′s that Christian music began getting popular. Record labels began recognizing Christian Music as they realized it would give them big business. Today the music industry has formed Christian music chart via the Billboard magazines. Through music it tries to reach out to people with a message and encourages unity among people. Gradually the traditional organ was replaced by the guitar at the mass service. Modern songs on God were created and sung instead of the old hymns. The 1990′s looked promising for many artists such as Amy Grant, Steve Curtis Chapman and DC Talk. But the 1996 changed the face of Christian music when ‘Jars of Clay’ shot up the Christian music charts when the song ‘Flood’ got more airtime for the first time in the history of Christian songs. Today Christian music has reached various genres and Christians can choose from various kinds. There is also an increase in the number of talented artists. Today people no longer think of Christian music as boring. This is because people are well informed about Christian music today. Thanks to marketing tactics and the new development in information technology.

Climate change impacts
Climate change impacts are already being seen across the world, but yet still the cause of the climate change is openly disputed. Honestly the way that I feel is that regardless of the reason for what is happening to the climate the facts are it will greatly affect the way the world is. These changes are going to dramatically impact the way that we live our lives. Let me take a minute to explain the dispute regarding the climate change. On one side you have the natural causes. The increase warming is just part of nature and there is nothing that you can do to stop mother-nature. Once she gets started all you can do is roll with the punches. Okay, now I believe that to a point. You cannot stop nature, but I do believe that you can stop the things that you are doing that contribute to these natural disasters. These climate change impacts the weather such as heat waves, and increase of strong hurricanes just to name a few. Now the other side of the dispute is that the things that we do on a daily basis increases the climate change that will eventually impact our lives drastically. Some of these the things that we do have been done since the first time many years ago that we began burning coal. The gases that are released into the air is part of the cause of these climate change impacts. And as the years have passed the amount of gases have increased at an astonishing rate. This is what has caused global warming. You can find more details about each of the beliefs by simply researching it on the internet. This is an important thing not only to us, but to our children’s children, and their children. But climate change impacts have already begun, just look at the graphs online that have the change in the weather, the increasing hurricanes that are reeking havoc on so many areas. I don’t know about you but there is no reason to take any unnecessary risks. Scientist have worked hard on compiling the data and if they are stating that this is a result of the things that we have done than I want to be sure that I am doing my part in helping to rectify the problem in any way that I can. The things that need to be done really are not difficult – car pooling to work, limiting the heat usage in your home, as well as the AC unit. Most of the things that we need to do to help reduce the release of carbon dioxide will also help to save us money.

Climate change skeptic
A climate change skeptic believes that the climate change is a natural event. The earth will cool down and heat up because it’s part of nature. Sounds logically right and I believe that this is true as well. But I also believe that we have greatly added to the effects of this happen, and will happen faster than it should have based on our human activities that release gases into the air. When the gases rise into the atmosphere they are getting trapped and this prevents the heat from escaping. If there are holes in the ozone layer than some of the air is escaping, which would make sense why some areas are affected less than others. A climate change skeptic will put up a well educated argument. But regardless one thing still remains the same and that is that the earth is hotter in all seasons across the world. There is no real way for you to dispute that, and if you believe that it’s not than there is a good chance that you have not seen the proof. There are so many skeptics that challenge many aspects of what the scientists have predicated and what they are saying about the climate change. They have something to say about the cause of the climate change, the effects that this change will have on the earth and everything else in between. The one thing that can be argued is the cause of this heating that it’s a natural occurring event that would have happened regardless of what humans have done. I believe that there are always going to be skeptics but the important thing is that you learn more about something before you start talking. There is a great deal of information that points to the fact that the earth is becoming warmer. The effects that it may have on civilization might not happen to us in our lifetime or our children’s lifetime, but this doesn’t make it any less real. Go online and begin looking up more information about the climate change and you will find a large amount of solid information about it, and then read what a climate change skeptic has to say. This is the best way to make your own educated judgment Don’t be one of the climate change skeptics that don’t really have anything to back them up. This is no way to win at an argument or get anyone on your side. A climate change skeptic should have the facts and they are easy enough to find anywhere on the internet.
